Privacy policy
Effective September 30, 2026.
This page explains what Cash for Junk Cars Hammond collects through this website, why, and who it goes to. The short version: the offer form collects what we need to make an offer on your car and pick it up, and nothing else on the site tracks you.
What the offer form collects
When you send the form, it transmits:
- the car's year, make and model, and your answer to the title question;
- your name, phone number and the pickup address you type in;
- the name of this website, so we know where the request came from.
The form sends these details over an encrypted connection to the service that receives our offer requests, hosted at mw.smartvin.app. Nothing is sent until you press "Get Instant Offer."
What the details are for
We use the details to call you about the car, make an offer, and arrange and complete the pickup if you accept.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn't set cookies of its own and doesn't load advertising or analytics scripts. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested, as part of serving and protecting the site.
Links to other sites
Our articles link to outside sources such as the Indiana BMV and published copies of the Indiana Code. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Your choices
You don't have to use the form. If you've sent a request and want us to stop contacting you about it, or want to ask what we hold, tell us when we call or reach us through the contact page.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date.
